Mission
- Facilitate private companies to access research and development services with support
from government - Cooperation between staff from government and private companies, or any division
or sector on request - Provide scope to establish private company research and development centers
- Connect tools and equipment in the laboratory for both government and related
sectors or divisions on request - Coordinate and facilitate a network for research and development to attain this
initiative - Seek and transfer technology and knowledge from related sectors or divisions for both
Thai and foreign organizations, leading to improvement in science and technology
staff - Co-study, analyze and submit suggestions regarding private company research and
development and initiate an investment support policy
Objectives (2016-2021)
- To promote the R&D investment of private companies according to government
policy and to increase the total investment to 1% of GDP by 2016 and 2% by 2021,
with the investment ratio of 70:30, private companies and government organizations
respectively - Be a one stop service to promote and strengthen the R&D centers for both Thai and
multinational companies in Thailand - Promote the realization and capacity of private technology and innovation
improvement
